A city adding treatment space
San Francisco has been adding treatment capacity steadily, from residential programs and step-down recovery housing to outpatient clinics and recovery residences in many neighborhoods.
Every one of those buildings is a home, a workplace and a place of care at once. San Francisco Cleaning Co keeps them clean in a way that respects the people inside and fits the program’s day.
Rooms where residents live
Resident rooms are cleaned on your house schedule. Crews wipe furniture, sills and light switches, clean the floor and take out the trash, leaving personal belongings where they are. When a bed opens up, the room is turned over completely, from closet shelves and drawer interiors to bed frames, vinyl mattress covers, walls and floor, so the next admission arrives to a fresh room.
Shared bathrooms and showers get daily attention: toilets, sinks, tile, shower pans, grab bars and partitions scrubbed, drains cleared, and soap and paper refilled. Lounges and quiet rooms are dusted and vacuumed, and upholstered seating is spot-cleaned when it needs it. Resident laundry rooms get folding tables, machine tops and floors wiped and mopped.
Group rooms, dining and the front desk
After group and therapy sessions, rooms are reset with chairs in place, tables and boards wiped and floors vacuumed. Dining rooms and resident kitchenettes are cleaned once meals finish, covering tables and chairs, counters, the sink, microwave and refrigerator handles, and the floor.
Staff offices, the intake desk, visitor lobbies and family meeting rooms are kept tidy and welcoming. In older San Francisco buildings, that often means stairwells, narrow halls and elevator cabs too, all cleaned on the same route.
Protocol-driven cleaning
We follow the facility’s infection-prevention protocol for products, frequency and the order rooms are cleaned. Terminal cleaning is booked as you need it, after discharges or illness, working from the ceiling line down through every surface in the room.
Crews use EPA-registered disinfectants and give each one its full label dwell time. They have completed bloodborne-pathogen safety instruction and work with HIPAA-aware conduct, so files, sign-in logs and screens are left alone and nothing about residents is repeated.
Clinics with exam rooms can combine this with medical facility cleaning, and touchpoint work on request is on our disinfection and sanitizing page.
Discreet, on your timetable
Crews plan their rounds around sessions, meals, visiting hours and rest. They knock and wait before entering, keep their voices low and greet residents politely without lingering. Midday cleaning suits residential programs while groups are in session, and evenings suit outpatient clinics.
Crew members are background-checked, and supervisors carry out quality inspections and share findings with your facility lead. If a resident asks for the room to be skipped that day, the crew notes it and your staff decides when to return.
Entrances, courtyards and the sidewalk view
Courtyards, smoking areas and front steps get litter pickup and a sweep, and entry mats are cleaned so the building looks cared for from the street. A program in the city often shares walls with neighbors, and a tidy entrance helps keep those relationships good.
Opening a new program site
When a program moves into a renovated building, the space has to be clean before the first resident arrives. Our post-construction cleaning lifts drywall dust from vent grilles, ledges, window tracks and cabinet interiors, cleans fixtures and glass, and scrubs the floors, and then each room is made ready for move-in. Furniture deliveries and staff orientation days are worked around, so the final clean lands just ahead of opening.
Before regular service begins, our supervisor walks the building with your facility lead to learn the protocol, the visitor sign-in routine, which doors stay locked and which rooms are off-limits during groups. That walk shapes the cleaning route and the first week’s schedule, and the supervisor checks back after the first visits to fine-tune timing around your program’s day.
Floors, restrooms and pricing
Resilient floors in corridors and dining rooms can be stripped and refinished through commercial floor care, and heavily used bathrooms can go on restroom deep cleaning intervals.
Resident room count, bathrooms and showers, visit frequency and timing, terminal clean bookings and floor work set the price. After a walkthrough, you receive a written quote room by room. Contact us to schedule it.
