Do you need a San Francisco vendor you can sign directly?

Facility managers, whether they run a nationwide book or a regional one, take on San Francisco buildings all the time: a mid-rise office for a client headquartered elsewhere, a clinic floor, a hotel’s public areas, a row of storefronts, a light industrial building in the southeast part of the city. If one of those is now yours to staff, San Francisco Cleaning Co can be the cleaning vendor for it, hired by your company directly with no middle layer.

The city packs a lot of building types into a small footprint. Offices and mixed-use towers, medical and dental practices, schools, restaurants and food halls, gyms, retail, labs and warehouses can all sit within a few blocks. Properties in nearby Daly City, Brisbane, South San Francisco and Sausalito can join the same account.

Inside the building and outside it

The property is more than its interior, and so is our service list. Recurring work covers janitorial services, office cleaning and day and night porters for lobbies and restrooms that see traffic around the clock. Periodic tickets can call for construction cleanup once a suite buildout ends, carpet extraction on a worn corridor, a top-to-bottom restroom reset or stone, tile and vinyl floor care.

Outside, the same vendor handles pressure washing of entries and sidewalks, parking lot sweeping and landscape maintenance. For a facility manager that means one onboarding, one certificate and one account for work that might otherwise mean three vendor setups. Hotel lobbies and public areas follow their own schedule, laid out on our hotel cleaning page.

One account manager, a backup, and invoices that match

Each facility management company that signs with San Francisco Cleaning Co gets a named account manager who handles all of its properties with us. A second escalation path runs to our operations manager, so a question still gets an owner on the day the account manager is out. The company is reachable 24/7 and replies to written messages inside a business day.

Three or four buildings landing on your desk together isn’t a problem. They start together and run from one schedule. Your payables team picks the billing style, by property or by ticket, and every invoice cites the address alongside the work order number it answers.

What will your vendor file need from us?

The vendor packet is the opening document. Our contact form is where you ask for it, and the reply, with the packet attached, comes by email from our operations people.

Insurance: our general liability limits are $1M for each occurrence and a $2M aggregate, an umbrella policy adds coverage above those, and workers’ compensation is in place for staff. On request, your company and its client are written onto the policy as additional insured parties, and the COI is in your hands one business day later at the most.

People: San Francisco Cleaning Co puts no one on your properties until their background check is back clean, and our teams work in uniform. If a property requires front-desk check-in, added screening for a secure floor, a building badge or an escort, the crew works that way there. Rules like these travel with the crew to each address.

How do tickets move?

Through your system, not ours. Whatever work-order platform your company mandates, our team can take tickets in it, update them there and close them there.

When you flag a ticket as urgent, expect our response on the same day. We take urgent calls during nights and weekends too, which matters in a city where buildings rarely sleep. Each of your tickets carries a not-to-exceed limit, and we work inside it. If a job will run over, you hear about it and approve the difference before we go further.

How will you know the work happened?

No visit goes unrecorded: crew arrival and departure times are captured each time. When a tenant raises a question, you can check that record.

Urgent jobs and one-off services end with a set of photos or a brief note confirming completion, sent your way. On top of that, supervisors run quality inspections on recurring properties and pass you the reports or scores, which helps when your client asks how the building is being kept.

Getting started with San Francisco Cleaning Co

Share the address and we’ll walk the property within two business days, covering access, building rules and the hours available for cleaning. A start within one week of that walk is the usual timeline.

Visit the contact page, note that you’re writing for a facility management company, and ask for the vendor packet. The full service overview is on our San Francisco commercial cleaning page.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Can exterior work like sidewalk pressure washing go on the same account?

Yes. Pressure washing, parking lot sweeping and landscape maintenance can be routed to us alongside interior cleaning, under the same account manager and invoicing.

Do you take properties outside San Francisco?

Yes. Properties in Daly City, Brisbane, South San Francisco and Sausalito can join a San Francisco account.

How fast is the certificate of insurance?

Within one business day of your request, with your company and its client added as additional insured parties when asked.

Does your crew check in at the front desk and follow badge rules?

Yes. Crews follow each building’s check-in, screening, badging and escort requirements, and every crew member has passed a background check.

What inspection reporting will we get?

Supervisor inspection reports or scores for recurring properties, shared with your team, alongside the arrival and departure records kept for every visit.
